Weddings don’t always have to be large affairs. Case in point…Laura and Andrew’s intimate elopement at The Woolverton Inn. The couple decided to celebrate their vows with a small ceremony attended by their closest family and friends. While The Woolverton Inn does have space for large weddings, it is absolutely perfect for elopements and smaller weddings as well. One thing I love about elopements as a photographer is that there is often not a rigid set schedule like you’d have at a “traditional” wedding. That means we can plan out the photo time for either before the ceremony, afterwards, or a little of both. In this case, I met up with Laura and Andrew at The Woolverton Inn before their ceremony and we got the photos of the first look and couples’ portraits done prior to the ceremony. In order to not have the families have to arrive super early, we opted to do the family photos following the ceremony. From there, I stayed for a bit to document the cocktail hour (and the interactions with the resident sheep) before saying my goodbyes as the couple and their guests moved on to a family dinner.
