Melanie and Leo’s winter wedding at the fantastic Park Savoy Estate definitely proved the adage that good things come to those who wait. These two were originally going to have their wedding day at The Park Savoy in early April 2020…just as the pandemic was beginning. Needless to say, like most couples, they postponed the wedding day. Until January of 2021. At the height of the second wave. Fast forward again until January of 2022 and Melanie and Leo were finally able to hold their reception on a fantastic January day with newly fallen snow from the night before providing a beautiful backdrop for their photos.
If you’ve been to The Park Savoy before, you know that the staff is second to none and the facility has everything right there to make your wedding day amazing. While Melanie and the girls finished hair, makeup and final prep in the bridal suite, Leo and the guys were hanging in the man cave and enjoying their lunch before the first look and photos. While it definitely wasn’t the warmest of days, this group had no problem braving the cold so Melanie and Leo could have the outdoor photos they wanted. As I mentioned earlier, the snow from the day before combined with the crystal blue sky made for a stunning backdrop. When I said that The Park Savoy has everything necessary for an amazing wedding from start to finish right on site, I wasn’t kidding. After the photos, it was time for there ceremony in the on-site chapel. While most venues have on-site ceremony locations, there are very few with a full-blown chapel right on the property. Following the ceremony, it was time for the part of the day these two waited two years for…the party with their friends and family. The crew from Elite Sound Entertainment had the dance floor packed all night long and as you can see below, this group came to party!
