One of our last weddings in 2024, Rhi and Tom’s wedding at The Olde Mill Inn was certainly one of our favorites. Despite the chilly and damp weather, Rhi was beaming ear to ear the entire day. What’s more, we were able to get some outdoor photos in between the rain drops which was super important to the couple. One of the best things about the Olde Mill Inn is that there are a ton of indoor spaces for photos even in the worst weather conditions. Furthermore, their ability to set up the indoor ceremony location with no hiccups is a true testament to how good the staff is!
After getting ready in separate suites at the inn, Rhi and Tom chose to do a first look and private vows reading as the beginning of their day. This relatively newer trend of private vows is quickly becoming one of my favorite trends. The real emotion and personal connection is second to none. Following the photos in and around the inn, the couple’s ceremony was a short, laughter filled event that seemed like the perfect match to their personalities. Just before heading into the reception at the end of the cocktail hour, we were graced with a very brief snow squall and Rhi and Tom were all about getting that snow photo which became their favorite image of the day. As you can see below, the guests had a pretty good time…the dance floor was packed the entire night!
