What do you get when you combine a fantastic couple, a totally unique venue, and a TON of details? One heck of a wedding!! Every once in a while, we have the opportunity to photograph a wedding that is totally unique. This was one of those occasions. Tommi and Andres held their wedding at Brady Life Camp in Pottersville NJ. This is a summer camp for inner-city children during the season. Being the outdoorsy and rustic type, Tommi and Andres wanted a completely unique venue and Brady Life Camp fit the bill perfectly. What’s the catch? As it is a summer camp, ALL of the details, decor, etc had to be conceived and brought in by the couple. Thankfully, these two were more than up for the challenge! I literally can’t think of another wedding that had SOOO many details both big and small. Andres BUILT most of the wooden decor himself…even the bar! When it comes to wedding planning, some things often get overlooked. In this case, I don’t think anything did. From the handmade signs, to the shotgun shell boutonnieres, to the lawn games like corn hole and giant Jenga, every inch of the camp was covered in thoughtful details. I could go on all day about the wedding details, but they were nothing compared to the couple themselves! Tommi and Andres are two people who genuinely enjoy life AND each other! Just take a look at Andre’s reaction to the first time he sees Tommi in her dress and it will give you an idea of the emotion and energy this wedding had. Despite it being a brutally hot September day, everyone was in party mode and the day flew by!
