The Silo at The Farmhouse | New Years Eve Wedding

Many of you know that The Farmhouse is one of our favorite wedding venues so were especially thrilled to be able to work with Sara and Tyler as they rung in the New Year with the friends and family at The Farmhouse’s newest venue, The Silo at The Farmhouse.  With the entire event being held at The Farmhouse, we started the day with the preparations in both the bride and grooms’ suites in The Silo.  Being New Years eve, the energy was ramped up right from the beginning!!  We planned the schedule carefully to allow the couple daylight for some outdoor photos for their first look before the ceremony and thankfully, the weather cooperated with us.  Being a December wedding, the ceremony itself was obviously indoors, but the amazing fireplace in The Silo is a perfect backdrop for an indoor ceremony.  Combined with the candlelight and holiday decorations, the ballroom was the perfect ceremony location.

Having gotten the “formals” done prior to the ceremony, afterwards there was nothing left to do except party the night away as we all counted down to the start of 2024.  Let me tell you, this crowd came to party!  As you can see below, the dance floor was packed from the first dance right though the end of the night.  Even in the moments after midnight, this group kept the party going.  I know that some vendors won’t do New Years weddings or charge more for them, but for Carrie and I, there is no better way to ring in a new year than celebrating with a kick-ass couple and an amazing party!
