Our run of amazing weather wedding days continued this fall with Eryn and Nick who celebrated their wedding day with friends and family at The Silo at The Farmhouse. Since we photograph weddings at The Farmhouse ALL the time, it is always nice when we have use of the entire property for the photos…especially with this crew! Eryn and the girls and Nick and the guys got ready in their respective bridal suites at The Silo. Since everything was taking place at the venue, the couple wisely decided to do a first look and get their photos done prior to the ceremony. For them, we took the couple to the schoolhouse on the property for their fist look to make it totally private and away from prying eyes. I think Nick’s reaction said it all and it was a perfect precursor to the day ahead. What really stood out was how in the moment these two were. You could tell that they truly enjoyed every aspect of their day and nothing was performative.
Being that we had the entire property at our disposal, we made sure to use a bunch of different locations for the photos. For the ceremony, the couple chose the lawn on the ballroom side of the Farmhouse as their backdrop for their vows. Once again, the joy and emotion were palpable. Following the vows, it was back over to The Silo side for what would be an amazing reception. As you can see, the dance floor was PACKED the entire night. I know if was a good wedding when I leave the venue dripping in sweat at the end of the night! Carrie and I had so much fun with Eryn, Nick, and their entire crew!
