We had the honor of photographing Meaghan and Nick’s completely wild, amazing wedding at The Ryland Inn this past fall. The couple had rented out a few of the cottages on the property for the early day preparation and as always, Carrie and I split up in the beginning to cover both groups. What made this one a little different is that the guys and girls were getting ready right next door to each other so we were both able to cover different parts of each prep. Since the couple was having their entire day at The Ryland, they wisely decided to do a first look and we were able to get all of their photos done in plenty of time before the ceremony which allowed everyone to totally relax and enjoy the whole day.
As the evening air began to chill, it was thankfully just warm enough for Meaghan and Nick to have their ceremony on the patio of the grand ballroom like they originally wanted. One of my favorite parts of the day was how funny the ceremony was and how personal it was to the couple. You can see below…the laughs and smiles were infectious from the very beginning. The capstone of the night was the super party that was their reception. Complete with indoor sparklers and CO2 canons, the dance floor was packed the entire night!
