A late fall wedding at Skyview Golf Club turned into a winter wonderland thanks to mother nature! This has been the year of wacky weather for the wedding season and Gabrielle and Corey’s wedding was no exception. The early winter storm that hit the week of their wedding left Skyview Golf Club covered in a white blanket and it made for great albeit chilly wedding photos. We met up with Gabrielle and Corey at the golf club for their final preparations before the wedding. As the big day was after daylight savings time, we planned for a first look session to make use of the available light and the scenery at Skyview before their ceremony which would occur after the sun had set. The thing that stood out to me was how relaxed and “go with the flow” these guys were. Even though they didn’t plan on a winter wedding, they just rolled with it and had a blast! I particularly love the juxtaposition of the snow covered pumpkins in some of the photos! After the ceremony in front of the fireplace, it was on to the cocktail hour and then partying the night away. if you haven’t seen the newly renovated space that is now Skyview Golf Club, please check it out! The ballrooms are both amazing and the wall of windows is something to behold!!
