Jessica and Pete celebrated their wedding day with family and friends at the beautiful Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury a few weeks ago. Carrie and I have known Jessica for years and we’ve been to many weddings together. However…it was usually Jessica running the show in her role as the venue chief and this was HER day to be the center of attention. It is always an honor when a fellow wedding industry professional asks us to photograph their own wedding day. Throughout the planning process, we got to know Pete almost as well as we know Jess and I have to say that he is one of the most laid-back, down to earth guys we’ve met. You can tell how completely comfortable these two are together and it really came across in their photos. These two have been together for years and that helped make the nervous jitters typical of a wedding day turn into nothing but ear to ear smiles! Being in the industry, Jess was well connected with her vendors and everyone completely knocked it out of the park! From the amazing bouquets and centerpieces from Blue Jasmine to the PACKED dance floor thanks to The Savoy Stompers, this was an amazing wedding. This was also our first wedding at The Shadowbrook since the new ownership took over and I have to say I was beyond impressed with the renovations and their staff! Most of all, I’m glad we got to share the day and the laughs with these two!
