Erika and Dan celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge. It is always special for Carrie and I to photograph weddings at the Olde Mill Inn as we had our own wedding reception here! We started the day with the guys and girls getting ready separately on different sides of the inn. One of the nicest features of this property is that you can keep the two parties separate before the ceremony and still have plenty of places for photos. The wedding ceremony itself was held in the courtyard of the Inn, but instead of the usual ceremony held on the courtyard patio, Erika and Dan chose to have there ceremony in front of the newly built pergola. “Flipping” the ceremony like this allows for the bride to enter the aisle from the Inn itself and makes for a completely different background for the ceremony. Charles Westcott Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all evening and we ended our night with a sparkler sendoff and some night portraits with the couple. Thanks again for having us as a part of your day!!
