When the pandemic arrived, Amanda and Simon were forced to move their spring wedding date to the early fall. However, as the new date was fast approaching and with no end in sight for the virus, they pivoted again and moved their reception to a beautiful tented affair at Simon’s parents home. I have to say that out of all the smaller affairs we have covered this year, this was one of our favorites! Not only do we know Amanda’s dad from the industry, but the planning and execution of this wedding was absolutely amazing! We started the day with the couple getting ready at their hotel in Spring Lake before heading over to the church for a socially distanced ceremony. From there, we made a quick stop at the lake in Spring Lake for the bridal party photos. The leaves we just beginning to show a hint of change, and the perfect fall weather made this a truly fairy tale wedding!
