Neshanic Valley Golf Course Wedding | Lark + Chris

On a beautiful fall day, Lark and Chris celebrated their wedding with family and friends at the beautiful Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station NJ.  While not technically high school sweethearts, these two did meet there and actually ended up going to the same college!  As Lark put it, “While we were friendly in highschool, and became close in 10th grade sitting next to each other in homeroom and calling each other at night talking for hours on the phone, it was never anything more than just a friendship. We both ended up going to Rider University and lived in the same dorm, directly above each other, this is where our relationship became a strong friendship.”  Even though they were both dating others, they remained close friends and both actually questioned what the other saw in their at-the-time significant others.  It wasn’t until after college that the friendship began to morph into something more and the rest as they say, is history!

One of the things Lark told me was that she wanted a rustic feel to her wedding and a relaxed feeling to the day.  The barns and sprawling open fields of Neshanic Valley certainly lent itself to the rustic feeling she was going for!  As far as relaxing, I guess that would depend on the definition of “relaxed.”  Is she meant an absolutely crazy packed dance floor all night long including a little crowd surfing by her new husband, then that was definitely achieved!  Relaxed or crazy, over-the-top fun, the definition doesn’t matter as these two had an amazing day and they now get to add the labels husband and wife to their lifelong friendship.
