As most wedding photographers will tell you, every once in a while we get the perfect wedding where everything goes exactly to plan…amazing couple, amazing weather, amazing party and guests. THIS was one of those weddings! Katie and Lou didn’t hold any punches when they planned their dream wedding. After meeting separately with the girls and guys in the morning, we met up at The Farmhouse at The Grand Colonial for their first look. After that, we all piled in and went to an amazing off-site location for the bridal party photos. These two were so at ease with each other and in front of the camera that it made photographing them a breeze! Following our photo trek, it was back to The Farmhouse for more photos and the ceremony.
Now, every wedding has entertainment. However, when you’re a musician yourself like Lou is, you get an amazing band for the reception. Not only that…you surprise your new wife with an acoustic wedding song. If that’s not enough for you…you surprise everyone by having YOUR band mates take over the stage and rock out. Definitely one of the more memorable experiences we’ve had in recent years. As you can see below, keeping people on the dance floor all night long was NOT a problem!
