We had the honor of photographing Kelsey and Dustin’s wedding last fall at the beautiful Hotel Du Village. There are rustic estates and then there is Du Village which feels like you’ve stepped back in time to the gilded era. The modern touches that Landmark Hospitality have added to the venue only enhance the charm. We started our day with the girls and guys respectively before heading out for the first look in the gardens. Following the first look itself, Kelsey and Dustin chose to read the vows to each other privately. This is a relatively new trend in the wedding scene and I am all for it! It seems much more personal and intimate when the couple share private vows alone instead of in front of all the guests. From there, we had enough time to squeeze in a few photos with the bridal party before the rain arrived and drove us back indoors. Fortunately, there is no lack of indoor spaces for great photos at this venue! Even the indoor ceremony room was oozing in old-world charm. The night capped off with their epic wedding reception where the dance floor was packed the entire night!
