Arlene and Jim celebrated held their intimate wedding with their closest family and friends at Holly Hedge Estate earlier this summer. Being a small and intimate affair, I met up with the couple a few hours before their ceremony for their wedding portraits. One of the best things about weddings at Holly Hedge is that the property has a ton of different options for photos and we can really get a bunch of different looks in “one place.” With a laid back and easy schedule, I had time to give the couple photos by the lake, the pond, and all around the barns without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Following their photos, the couple were married in the courtyard of the barn by a close friend. The intimate guest count meant that every guest had a “front row” seat to the ceremony. In what was a unique change to a usual wedding at Holly Hedge, the couple and their guest enjoyed the reception in the barn itself as opposed to the large main ballroom. This meant that the intimate and close knit feel the couple was after extended to the entirety of their wedding day!
