Farmhouse at The Grand Colonial Wedding | Kourtney + Andrew
Kourtney + Andrew celebrated their wedding day at The Farmhouse at The Grand Colonial a few weeks back. Even though we are here all of the time, I always love shooting at The Farmhouse. The main part of the building itself dates back to the civil war era when it was the home of a prominent surgeon of the time. The ballroom and grounds add a modern touch to this piece of history. On a beautiful summer day, Kourtney and Andrew decided to hold all of their wedding activities on the property. From the girls and guys final preparations to the first look, ceremony, and reception, we were with the couple for the entire day.
After the bridal party finished their preparations, we began our photography with the first look between Koutney and Andrew. A first look session is always a great idea, especially for weddings where everything is at the same place. We have plenty of time for the photos without rushing and, as an added bonus, the couple doesn’t have to miss the cocktail hour! Weddings at The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial are 100% less stressful when we have the time to create amazing photos before the ceremony!
After shooting all over the property with the bride, groom, and wedding party, we headed inside for the Ketubah signing before the beautiful inter-faith wedding ceremony on the great lawn. It was then time to party the night away as the crew from Paul Anthony Entertainment kept the dance floor PACKED all night long!
