Always expect the unexpected when it comes to weddings. Was the weather an issue? Nope! We had beautiful skies and fantastic weather. Was someone late or ill? Nope! Everyone was laid back, on time, and feelin’ fine! Then what was the unexpected? How about thousands (not exaggerating) of high school kids on site for their prom photos! That is what happened to us at Eva and Tom’s wedding at The Skylands Manor a few weeks ago. What started as a trickle of students soon became a flood as what seemed like the entire school descended on the botanical gardens for prom photos. Thankfully, we had already done the first look and the majority of the bride and groom photos in the gardens before the onslaught came. After retreating from the herd, we headed back over to the manor property for the ceremony and reception. Here is a brief recap of the day!
