The breathtaking Cairnwood Estate in Byrn Athyn provided the backdrop for Carly and Tom’s wedding reception on a steamy summer evening. It is always great when we get to work with a group of friends across multiple weddings. Carly was a bridesmaid in Lauren & Steve’s wedding a few years and both of them were in Carly’s wedding party this time! I started the day out with the girls at Carly’s home while Carrie was just down the street with the guys. It’s pretty awesome that this group of friends all grew up on the same street and it was a little flashback for us as we started Lauren and Steve’s wedding prep just a few houses down! After meeting back up at Carly’s, Carrie and I headed over to the church in Hopewell for the wedding mass. Despite a little hiccup with the transportation, the bridal party headed off to Cairnwood following the mass where we dove into the bridal party photos. The scenery at Cairnwood seems like it was literally designed for wedding pictures…from the old buildings to the sweeping grounds it is custom-made for breathtaking backgrounds. The indoor-outdoor flow of the reception space ensures that the guests can make use of the entire mansion and grounds for a truly memorable evening! I can’t thank these two enough for letting us be a part of their day…it truly was a party as you can see below!
