Our first wedding of 2020 got the season off to an amazing start! If you haven’t checked out The Bernard’s Inn for your wedding, you may want to give it a peek! We had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and Vincent on the day of their winter wedding at The Bernard’s Inn shortly after the Inn finished the first phase of their lobby remodeling. What a change! The new ceiling, woodwork, and lighting all add an amazing touch to an already beautiful wedding space. When we fist met with Steph and Vinny, they were originally planning a very small, intimate wedding to be held in the silver vault and wine panty. However, as it is often the case, their guest count grew by a few and they made the decision to use the Fenwick ballroom and The Bernard’s Inn instead of having the whole affair in the silver vault. This allowed the couple to have their ceremony in the Fenwick like normal but still have the separate cocktail hour in the vault and wine panty while the ballroom was changed over for the reception. The custom floral display and aisle by House of Blooms was stunning! Check it out below!
We were blessed with some amazing weather for early February and as such, we were able to spend some time outdoors with the couple and not freeze to death! For weddings like this one where we don’t want to be spending a ton of time outdoors, having the picturesque barn right across the street from the Inn is truly a blessing. After a bit outside, we came back into the remodeled foyer for some more photos with the couple and their families. Having done all of their “formal” photos before the ceremony, Stephanie and Vincent were able to relax for a bit before it was time to walk down the aisle. On that note, they were also able to fully enjoy their cocktail hour with the guests before coming back up to the ballroom to party the rest of the evening away!
