This part of the journey began in a little restaurant in Florida. As Amy tells it, they go to Florida every year in July to celebrate Amy’s mom and daughters’ birthdays. On the last day of their visit, Jose took the family out for dinner. With Amy and her mom away at the restroom, Jose arranged to have a ring placed in the bread basket. Upon returning to the table, Jose slid the basket across the table to Amy. Through tears of joy, Amy saw Jose drop to one knee and propose in front of the whole restaurant. That, they say, is what brings us to today.
Now, in front of family and friends, Amy and Jose celebrated their marriage at Ravello’s in East Hanover NJ. A beautiful summer evening was the perfect setting for their wedding ceremony and the photos. As you can see, Jose was a little overjoyed to be marrying Amy! I love when true emotion really shows and as you can see in the photos below, there was no shortage of emotion on this day!
