A new year brings a fresh slate, a new beginning if you will. For Cynthia and Owen, it was also the official beginning of their new lives as husband and wife. While The Bernards Inn is always a beautiful venue, it is extra nice around the holidays with the vintage, timeless decorations throughout the Inn. Added to that, the planning by Peony Events and the arrangements by Thistle Bee transformed the Fenwick ballroom into an elegant winter wedding celebration! One of the challenges in photographing winter weddings is that, for an evening wedding, many of the photos will be indoors due to the early sunset. On this day, that was probably a good thing as the outside temps barely reached the teens! Never the less, the bridal party were troopers and we DID manage to get a few photos in front of the Inn before they froze! One of the things that stood out to Carrie and I was how laid back the couple was. Cynthia had said to me before the wedding that she was most looking forward to spending the time with her friends and family and partying in the new year. As you can see below, partying was not a problem for this group! The team from PAE had the dance floor packed the entire night! What a wonderful end to 2017 and a great beginning to 2018!
